Mega Evolution Set Blasts into the Pokémon TCG This September!
Dust off your binders and get your sleeves ready—there’s a new Pokémon TCG set coming, and it’s going to be MEGA. Literally. The next English set is officially titled Mega Evolution, and it’s landing with a roar on 26th September.
The Pokémon Company International dropped the news via a fresh English trailer, hot on the heels of the Japanese reveal for Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia. While our friends in Japan have already seen glimpses of the new mega-powered cards, we now have our very own take on the artwork. The English version promises booster packs with exclusive designs, so collectors might want to keep a close eye on those wrappings.
But that’s not all. While September will be all about mega evolutions and eye-catching foil, the Pokémon TCG train doesn’t stop there. November’s set will step things up yet again, likely featuring content from Inferno X along with cards from the Mega Gengar ex and Mega Diancie ex decks. If you’re a fan of ghostly mischief or dazzling fairy types, that’s a date you’ll want to circle too.
