Recently, we've gotten a glimpse of a number of promo cards that'll be featured in Mega Evolution products. Here's what we've seen so far!
ex Boxes
A Mega Kangaskhan ex Box and Mega Venusaur ex Premium Collection have both been shown off, featuring alternate promo art of both megas! Both boxes will become available in December.
Build & Battle
The selection of promo cards found in Pre-release "Build & Battle" boxes have been unveiled for Mega Evolution! We'll be able to pick up the starter from Legends Z-A, Meganium, another starter Inteleon, fan favourite Alakazam, and the adorable Lunatone.
Interestingly, Alakazam is in its standard form, confirming that a new Mega Alakazam ex will have to wait until a future set. Meganium is also theorised to mega evolve in Legends Z-A as it's a starter of the game, similar to how the Legends Arceus starters gained new forms.
As usual, these will be available in the weeks running up to the set's full release at Pre-release events, organised by professors at local card shops!
Build & Battle boxes include one of these promos and a partially prebuilt 40 card deck, and the events supply booster packs to complete the decks. It'll be an exciting time for anyone anticipating the set.

Mega Evolution is now set to fully release on October 10th, with all the usual products to look forward to. So many exciting cards, more so than these promos, will be available to find on release so keep a careful watch.
