ChessGenius Pro 2024 - An Overview

This is one of the more popular boards in the recent years from this company. It's designed for both beginners and pros to drill and simulate games, and easily and deeply analyse games.
Customisable Computer Training Partner
The primary function of this board is is running games against the computer, with different difficulties available to be chosen. Every game you play can be recorded and watched back through the screen, with up to 12 stored.
Watching back games is often a difficulty with playing on a physical board, and a reason why online play is so valuable. Being able to play with real pieces and still have easy access to feedback and notes is just amazing.
Of course, you can also play with another person instead of the computer on this board.
The computer can be customised through a type of chess to play such as Blitz, allow it to resign, pick a playstyle, amount of mistakes that it can make, an option to recieve feedback mid game, and plenty more.
Physical Appearance
The board is sturdy, very well made. The pieces are held down by magnets, partially so that the computer can track the location of each one, and also so that nothing will fall should you have to pick up and move the whole thing. Each piece is sturdy with a clean design, and there's even an option to have the board with a wooden look!
The screen is nothing fancy, but is always clear. Even in sunlight you'll be able to read it well.
