It's one of those posts today, hopefully you clicked on this! Here are the top 10 most sought after cards from the Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution Perfect Order expansion.
#10 - Poke Pad
This is a card introduced in the Ascended Heroes special expansion, which is been in very high demand, which is unfortunate as Ascended Heroes is famously hard to come by. Now that there's a more commonly printed edition I'm sure that everything will drop a little in value, but for now everyone still wants a full art Poke Pad, especially serious players who want their decks to look as good as possible! It sneaks into 10th on this list at about £21.50.
#9 - Meowth ex
A fan favourite Pokemon for ever and ever, of course an ex Meowth would be on this list! This version is currently valued around £23.90.
#8 - Jacinthe
A brand new supporter card to the game! Jacinthe seems pretty powerful, being able to heal 150 damage from any Psychic Pokemon, which is a significant amount of health! Of course, this is the rarest edition of her card, going for around £29.10.
#7 - Clefairy
Literally who doesn't lilke Clefairy? They're just one of the greats, now with another great card! The colours on this one are just so cute and perfect!!! Currently is valued at roughly £30.70.
#6 - Mega Clefable ex
Clefairy has evolved! And mega evolved! And so has its price shooting to £65.20. This card is just as pretty as the last, with some bonus points in that it's a new Pokemon, and maybe some viability thanks to Luminous Wing ignoring all opposing abilities!
#5 - Mega Starmie ex
The background kinda reminds me of this show, Starmie looks so tall. Anyways this one is £78.90.
#4 - Rosa's Encouragement
Another rare support card! I'm unsure on the viability of this one, and I imagine it's up here because of the popularity of the character, currently worth around £88.70.
#3 - Mega Zygarde ex
Of course the expansion's mascot has to be here somewhere! This is the second rarest version of Mega Zygarde ex, with a similar style to how previous mascots like Gardevoir and Dragonite have been designed! We're yet to see how effective this card could be in play, so maybe there's potential for it's value to raise in the short term. For now it's at £120.20.
#2 - Meowth ex
Same as before, but with such a cooler design! Of course it'd be valued so highly at £128.90!
#1 - Mega Zygarde ex
You wouldn't think that this is a surprise right? This is literally the objectively rarest card in the set. It statistically has the last amount of itself in circulation with the lowest odds of being pulled. Surprisingly though, this is the first time since the start of Mega Evolution where a golden design card has actually taken the top spot! This is likely due to the previous Pokemon who had been chosen for this honour being so popular, to the point that their 2nd rarest card is more sought after for it's looks. I don't think many people dislike Zygarde, but it has a hard time competing with Lucario, Gardevoir, Charizard, and Dragonite doesn't it.....
So yeah, for the first time the most expensive card is just the rarest card. We live in a crazy world. This one goes for around £175.30 right now, with plenty of room to rise.
